Paris is a bicycle developed and created to ensure maximun comfort without forgetting the racing spirit of every Pinarello bicycle.
The biggest difference from Dogma and Prince is in fact the Reach and Stack, a real balance found by our PinaLab technicians about a geometric solution that legthens the bike and makes it more comfortable to ride, without losing the reactivity key feature for a road bike.
Thanks to its particular characteristics, Paris reveal his distinctive focus on the long distance keeping the Pinarello DNA.
The paris has been designed for endurance use with a more comfortable geometry that embraces a wider audience. However, much of the technology from the Dogma F12 is also found on this bicycle, and that's why we consider it the perfect entry bike to fall in love with the Pinarello brand.
Using the frame design of the ever-popular Gan K as a starting point, the Pinarello development team set out to create a bike that embodies the brand’s racing DNA while still offering its owner a stable and supremely comfortable ride. The result is a frame that features longer chainstays for enhanced stability, but still incorporates the exaggerated Onda design elements seen in the uncompromisingly quick Dogma F12, improving stiffness. Likewise, the frame’s large headtube, downtube and seat stays ensure a ruthlessly efficient transfer of power, counterbalanced by its generous 30mm tyre clearance for best-in-class comfort.
The frame (made from more affordable T600 carbon fibre in a UD finish to save weight) also features several of the drag-reducing technologies seen on Pinarello’s more race-orientated machines. Like the Prince, the Paris makes use of Pinarello’s aerodynamic ‘ForkFlaps™’, while a perfectly seamless fit where the fork meets the headtube and downtube promotes stable airflow over the bike’s frontal area.
