This smart function automatically switches to maximum brightness when it recognises deceleration, to alert traffic behind you. To avoid a blinding effect during group rides, you can easily disable the automatic braking recognition using peloton mode. To save battery, the light automatically enters sleep mode when no motion is detected for two minutes. Once motion is detected, the light automatically turns on again. This gives Red Lyte 100 up to 40 hours of battery life.
