Differences in spoke lengths and spoke angles between the drive side and brake side of the hub are one of the biggest weaknesses of wheelsets, since the flange spacings are asymmetrical relative to the hub center. Our EFS system (Equal Flange System) features symmetrical flange spacings, thereby enabling symmetrical spoke angles. Since the same spoke length is used on both sides of the flange, exactly the same spoke tension can be achieved on both sides. As a result, this leads to an extremely stable and physically optimized wheel. The new V2 version of the EFS features even better sealing around the freehub body and axle end caps. Additionally, a redesign of the freehub and ratchet ring has led to a significantly longer service life. In addition, for the V2 version, we offer the freehub (item no. 40369) and the axle (40367) in a steel version to ensure optimal durability in these areas as well.
