The top cap adapter for extending the easyLoop system so that it can be installed on even more bikes. The adapter is fitted in place of the existing top cap and therefore offers the option of installing the Reverse easyLoop adapter over the stem. There are several reasons why installation above the stem is necessary. - For stems that require special spacers and these cannot be replaced by the easyLoop adapter (e.g. C.I.S system) - For bikes where the steerer tube has been cut too short and no spacers can be fitted under or over the stem. - For bikes where the easyLoop adapter can be installed under the stem, but there is not enough space between the easyLoop adapter and the frame. Not compatible with stems where the top cap is integrated into the stem or which require a special top cap. Attention: No stem may be mounted on the top cap adapter. The adapter is not used to extend the head tube and may only be used with the easyLoop adapter!
